Busy, Busy, Busy!

So, I've been busy these past couple of days. I have so many cupcake orders, thank you Lord! :) I think I made a thousand cupcakes for the past week alone. It's tiring but I've been very, very productive. Yey me!

So, here are some of the pictures I want to share with you. :)

I can remember how this current obsession of mine started like it was yesterday. Actually, I just started making cupcakes around September just because I wanted to try something new. I already knew how to bake cakes and cookies but I haven't done cupcakes yet. Then I found this muffin tin, so I tried it. And the cupcakes turned out great. :) Yey!

The cupcakes I made were chocolate cupcakes but I can't remember the frosting I used. I just remember that I do not have a pastry bag so I improvised with wax paper. hahaha!

Then for our (Ric and I) 16th monthsary, I made marble cupcakes with Italian Meringue buttercream frosting. The frosting was a little too sweet for me and him but he still loved it. :)

Then it got me thinking, since I love baking, why don't I use this and start a business? Why not? So I practiced and practiced until I got the recipes right. Ric is my taste tester. So when he comes home from work, I cook and bake for him. And he loves it! 

Anyway, after a couple months I started my cupcake business, Rich Cupcakes by Ric&Mich. I sell 14 kinds of cupcakes:

Yummy, right?! I'm still trying some other flavors to add to my list. :)

Ravioli Fail...or not!

Haha! I tried to make a ravioli pasta a while ago and i just finished eating it. It was cool when an Iron chef makes the ravioli so I tried to make one. I didn't have a rolling pin so I put a spice bottle inside a clean plastic wrap (hello improvisation!) and kneaded and rolled the dough that I made. Then I put some cheese between two sheets of pasta. ...then cooked it... For the sauce, I used Ragu. Yum!

The pasta was good but it was a little tough to bite...hmmm, I wonder why that was...

Anyway, I had fun doing it. I felt like I was playing Iron chef without the time limit and the iron chef opponent, or maybe I had my own food show, like Rachel Ray. hahaha!

First Blog....

Okay, so this is my first time to write a blog.


The problem? I don't know what I'm supposed to write. I'm not a good writer (i think) but I've got a lot of comments on everything. I don't know. Maybe I'm just very opinionated or I'm just really mean. XD


But for this blog, I'm not gonna "comment" on anything yet.
